Located on the corner of Lake Lansing and Abbott Road, Spartan Dance Center is just a hop, skip and heel turn north of downtown East Lansing, Michigan, home of the Michigan State University Spartans. Spartan Dance Center offers children’s classes, adult drop-in classes, special workshops, summer dance camps and fitness lifestyle programs with flexible scheduling for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

Class options include: hip-hop, jazz, zumba, contemporary, b-boy, lyrical, tap, ballet, salsa, ballroom, yoga, cheer and creative movement. Visit the schedule page for a complete list of dates and times.

Our Story

Tiffany Russell founded Spartan Dance Center with the goal creating a modern dance studio to fit the people of Lansing-area’s busy schedules and hectic lives. In the summer of 2010, Tiffany’s dream became a reality when she set-up shop in the heart of downtown East Lansing. Joined by an equally talented, young stuff, Tiffany was ready to give the public the opportunity to keep dancing, stay fit and have fun.

Spartan Dance Center’s pilot studio on Ann Street built a client-base for six months then moved a few blocks north in January 2011 for more space and parking for its customers. Since, Spartan Dance Center has continued to grow, renovate and expand its resources to give dancers continuous, new opportunities to share their love for dance.
