In the Event of Injury
Although we never want to think about a dancer becoming injured, occasionally despite best practices, injuries do occur, whether dancing or participating in other activities. In the event of injury:
-
Dancers who are unable to participate in class due to their injury should take their classes in appropriate clothing, in their scheduled class. Dancers should NOT have electronic devices out during this time, unless instructed by staff.
-
When the dancer is cleared to return to dance, parents must e-mail a doctor’s note detailing what level of activity is permitted
-
In the event of severe injuries which limit the dancer’s participation for an extended period of time, a meeting between the parents and staff must happen prior to the dancer resuming participation of any level.
In the Event of Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, parents and dancers will be notified at least 2 hours prior to the class beginning that class has been cancelled. Parents and dancers will be notified via text and social media.
