Spartan Dance Center

After moving to the area my senior year of high school, I found Spartan Dance Center while looking at the long list of dance studios. When I first walked in to SDC I knew it was where I wanted to be. I was welcomed at the front desk and was shown the studios where the dancers were practicing their summer fun production. I immediately spotted technique, stamina, and a plethora of abilities all impressively packed in one routine. Throughout my senior year at SDC I filled in for a class for a coworker who went on maternity leave and filled in at competitions when there were injuries/illnesses. These moments reminded me why I love to dance and express myself. The amazing Leah Seery choreographed a wonderful last minute senior solo. As one of the first senior dancers in the program, Tiffany and the staff ensured I felt the love. Whether it was in the studio, at recital (immediately followed by prom), or letting me teach some summer camps I always felt at home. Since graduating I have taught summer camps/ drop in classes/ covered classes/ and now teach weekly and I absolutely love all of it. Building upon my experiences at SDC I took classes in NYC, on Long Island, and across the state of Michigan. My SDC family supports me in all walks of life. From my work as a Speech Language Pathologist to supporting my family during our wedding and when we adopted our new pup. I have grown so much in my leadership, patience, flexibility, and teaching skills in my time at SDC and I can’t wait to continue this journey!​
