Gougeon-Adarkwa Scholarship
This scholarship is in honor of Mia Gougeon-Adarkwa's mother, Janet Gougeon, who unexpectedly passed away in March 2025. Her mother's greatest joy in life was her family. She loved watching her granddaughters dance, either at countless family events or on many different stages at competitions and recitals.

This scholarship is given to senior dancers to congratulate them on their accomplishments. The Gougeon-Adarkwa family wants them to continue to follow their passion!โ

Avery Blair Scholarship
The Avery Blair Scholarship is presented to a team dancer that the SDC staff feels exemplifies the qualities of positivity and teamwork that Avery Blair brought to the team in her time with us. Winners of this award are dancers that go out of their way to support and uplift their teammates, and bring a good attitude and "can do" spirit to each rehearsal and event. These are dancers that maintain a positive outlook in spite of personal setbacks, disappointments, or challenges, and endeavor to help their teammates do the same.โโโโ
